Treatment stages, healing time, fixed temporary teeth and the number of visits depend on your oral health, bone condition and implant stability. Your final plan is confirmed after an in-clinic examination and three-dimensional imaging.

All-on-X dental implants use a planned number of implants to support a complete fixed arch of replacement teeth. At DIS Levent International, our oral surgery and restorative teams plan your implants, temporary teeth and final restoration together according to your jawbone, bite and personal needs.

What Are All-on-X Dental Implants?

All-on-X is a full-arch dental implant treatment for patients who have lost most or all of their teeth or whose remaining teeth cannot be predictably restored.

The letter “X” represents the number of implants used to support one complete arch of replacement teeth. Depending on your jawbone, bite and treatment needs, four, six or another planned number of implants may be placed in the upper jaw, lower jaw or both.

Instead of placing one implant for every missing tooth, the implants work together to support a fixed full-arch bridge.

An All-on-X restoration normally includes four main parts:

THE DENTAL IMPLANTS

Titanium fixtures placed within the jawbone to support the restoration.

THE MULTI-UNIT ABUTMENTS

Connecting components that allow the full-arch bridge to attach to the implants.

THE TEMPORARY TEETH

A fixed or removable temporary restoration used during the healing period.

THE FINAL FULL-ARCH BRIDGE

The personalised restoration fitted after implant integration and healing have been confirmed.

All-on-X teeth are fixed in place for daily use. However, the restoration can be removed by a dentist when professional maintenance, repair or replacement is required.

Who Is Suitable for All-on-X Implant Treatment?

All-on-6 treatment may be considered for adults who have extensive tooth loss or need a complete upper or lower arch of teeth replaced.

You may be suitable if you:

  • Have lost most or all of the teeth in one or both jaws.
  • Have several severely damaged or mobile teeth that cannot be predictably restored.
  • Have advanced gum disease that has affected the support of your remaining teeth.
  • Experience movement, discomfort or difficulty eating with removable dentures.
  • Want a fixed alternative to a conventional removable denture.
  • Have sufficient jawbone or are suitable for an alternative surgical plan.
  • Are medically suitable for implant surgery.
  • Can follow a soft-food programme during initial healing.
  • Can maintain the cleaning routine required around a full-arch bridge.
  • Understand the treatment stages and long-term maintenance requirements.

A few damaged teeth do not automatically mean that all remaining teeth should be removed. Restorable natural teeth should be assessed carefully before full-arch extraction is recommended.

Smoking, uncontrolled diabetes, active infection, untreated gum disease, certain medications and heavy teeth grinding can affect healing or implant stability. These factors must be reviewed before treatment.

A remote consultation can provide preliminary guidance, but final suitability is determined after a clinical examination and CBCT scan in Istanbul.

All-on-4 vs All-on-6 Dental Implants: What Is the Difference?

Both All-on-4 and All-on-6 treatments use dental implants to support a complete fixed arch of replacement teeth. The main difference is the number and distribution of implants placed in each jaw.

The decision should be based on your anatomy and treatment needs-not simply on choosing the package with the highest number of implants.

ALL-ON-4 DENTAL IMPLANTS

All-on-4 treatment uses four implants to support one full arch. In suitable cases, the posterior implants may be placed at an angle to use the available bone more effectively.

This approach may reduce the need for extensive bone grafting in some patients, but it does not guarantee that bone grafting will never be required.

ALL-ON-6 DENTAL IMPLANTS

All-on-6 treatment uses six implants to support one full arch. When the available bone and jaw anatomy allow, the additional implants may provide wider support and distribute forces across more implant positions.

All-on-6 is not automatically better for every patient. Implant position and bone support are more important than the number alone.

PERSONALISED ALL-ON-6 TREATMENT

All-on-6 allows the surgical and restorative teams to select the number of implants according to your:

  • Available jawbone.
  • Bone quality and distribution.
  • Jaw size and anatomy.
  • Opposing teeth or restoration.
  • Bite forces.
  • Teeth-grinding habits.
  • Planned temporary and final bridge.
  • Need for additional surgical procedures.

After examining your CBCT scan, the surgeon will explain whether All-on-4, All-on-6 or another full-arch solution is most appropriate.

Can I Receive Fixed Temporary Teeth on the Same Day?

One of the greatest concerns for patients considering full-mouth implant treatment is being left without teeth. In suitable cases, fixed temporary teeth can be attached on the day of surgery or shortly afterwards.

This depends on factors such as:

  • The initial stability of the implants.
  • Bone quality.
  • The number and position of the implants.
  • Your bite forces.
  • The opposing teeth.
  • The extent of any bone or gum procedure.
  • Your ability to follow a soft-food programme.

“Same-day teeth” refers to a temporary restoration. It does not mean that the implants have finished healing or that the final bridge is fitted immediately.

The implants still need time to integrate with the jawbone. During this period, temporary teeth support appearance, speech and basic function while protecting the treatment area from excessive pressure.

If a fixed temporary bridge is not clinically safe, an alternative temporary restoration will be discussed. Your temporary-teeth option is confirmed after surgery once implant stability has been measured.

How Much Do All-on-6 Dental Implants Cost in Turkey?

The cost of All-on-X implants in Turkey depends on whether one or both jaws are treated, the number of implants placed and the temporary and final restorations included.

An advertised All-on-4 or All-on-6 price may refer only to one jaw, the implant fixtures or the temporary teeth. Patients should compare complete, itemised plans rather than headline prices alone.

Factors that can affect the final cost include:

  • Treatment of the upper jaw, lower jaw or both jaws.
  • The number of implants required per jaw.
  • The implant brand and system selected.
  • Tooth extractions.
  • Bone grafting or sinus procedures.
  • The type of temporary teeth provided.
  • The material and supporting structure of the final bridge.
  • The number of visits and expected length of stay.
  • Accommodation, transfers and multilingual support.
  • Long-term maintenance requirements.

Before you travel, you receive a clear preliminary all-on-6 implant treatment plan and itemised quotation. The included treatments, implant system, restorations and possible additional costs are explained in advance.

After your examination in Istanbul, the surgeon confirms the final plan. The price is usually close to the preliminary quotation when the records provided accurately represent your oral condition. If any change is required, the reason and cost are explained before treatment. No additional procedure is performed without your knowledge and approval.

Why Do International Patients Choose All-on-6 Implants in Turkey?

All-on-6 implant treatment can involve surgery, temporary teeth, a healing period and a final full-arch restoration. In the UK, Europe and the USA, completing these stages privately can involve a substantial cost.

Turkey can offer more accessible private treatment costs because of differences in operating and laboratory expenses. However, price should remain only one part of the decision.

International patients also consider Turkey because of:

  • Clinics experienced in full-mouth implant treatment.
  • Oral surgeons and restorative dentists working together.
  • CBCT imaging and digital full-arch planning.
  • Recognised domestic and international implant systems.
  • Fixed temporary teeth for suitable patients.
  • Coordinated treatment schedules.
  • Direct international connections to Istanbul.
  • Accommodation, transfer and language-support services.
  • Preliminary planning before travelling.

The quality and content of All-on-6 packages vary between clinics. Before booking, patients should verify the treating clinicians, implant brand, temporary-teeth plan, final restoration material, number of visits and aftercare arrangements.

All-on-6 Implant Procedure in Turkey: Step by Step

FREE REMOTE CONSULTATION

Tell us about your missing teeth, current dentures, dental concerns and medical history. Share any recent panoramic X-rays, CBCT scans, photographs or treatment reports you have available.

The clinical team reviews these records and prepares a preliminary treatment outline, estimated cost and travel schedule.

CLINICAL EXAMINATION AND CBCT SCAN

After you arrive in Istanbul, the surgeon examines your teeth, gums, bite and jaw structure. A CBCT scan is used to evaluate bone volume and important anatomical structures such as nerves and sinuses.

The remote plan is confirmed or changed according to the clinical findings.

SURGICAL AND RESTORATIVE PLANNING

The surgeon and restorative dentist plan the case together. The team determines:

  • Which teeth can be preserved.
  • Which teeth require extraction.
  • The number and positions of the implants.
  • Whether additional bone treatment is required.
  • The implant brand and system.
  • The design of the temporary teeth.
  • The material and structure of the final bridge.

EXTRACTIONS AND IMPLANT PLACEMENT

Teeth that cannot be predictably restored are removed. The planned implants are then placed into the jawbone, usually under local anaesthesia.

Bone procedures may be completed during the same appointment when clinically appropriate.

TEMPORARY TEETH

If the implants achieve sufficient initial stability, a fixed temporary bridge may be attached on the day of surgery or shortly afterwards.

The temporary teeth are checked for appearance, speech, comfort and bite. They are designed for the healing period and must be protected with a soft-food diet.

HEALING AT HOME

You return home while the implants integrate with the jawbone. This biological process, known as osseointegration, usually takes several months.

You remain in contact with our international patient team and follow the cleaning, dietary and medication instructions provided by your clinicians.

SECOND VISIT AND DIGITAL SCANS

After healing has been confirmed, new digital records are taken for the final restoration. The implant positions, bite, smile line and relationship between the teeth and gums are recorded.

FINAL FULL-MOUTH ZIRCONIUM CROWNS

The final zirconium bridge is assessed for fit, appearance, speech, cleaning access and bite. Once the clinical checks are complete, it is securely attached to the implants.

You receive individual instructions for cleaning and long-term maintenance before returning home.

How Long Does All-on-6 Implant Treatment in Turkey Take?

All-on-6 implant treatment in Turkey is usually completed over two visits separated by a healing period. You do not need to remain in Turkey while the implants integrate with the jawbone.

FIRST VISIT

The first stay is usually approximately five days. It may include:

  • Clinical examination and CBCT imaging.
  • Digital planning.
  • Required tooth extractions.
  • Implant placement.
  • Temporary teeth.
  • Post-surgical checks and adjustments.

HEALING PERIOD AT HOME

Implant integration usually takes three to six months. The exact period depends on bone quality, implant stability, additional surgical procedures and individual healing.

You spend this period at home using your temporary restoration and remain in contact with our team when required.

SECOND VISIT

The second visit is arranged after healing has been confirmed. Digital records are taken and the final full-arch restoration is produced, fitted and checked.

Our package includes a total of 10 nights’ accommodation across the planned treatment visits. The distribution of these nights and your exact travel dates are confirmed according to your individual treatment plan.

Temporary and Final All-on-6 Teeth

Temporary and final full-arch restorations serve different purposes. Understanding the difference helps patients know what to expect during each treatment stage.

TEMPORARY TEETH

Temporary teeth are designed for the healing period. They help restore appearance, speech and basic function while limiting excessive pressure on the implants.

They are not as strong as the final restoration and require a soft-food diet. Temporary teeth may need adjustment or repair during healing.

FINAL FULL-ARCH TEETH

The final bridge is produced after implant integration has been confirmed. Its material and supporting structure are selected according to:

  • Implant distribution.
  • Available restorative space.
  • Bite forces.
  • Teeth-grinding habits.
  • Appearance and smile goals.
  • Cleaning access.
  • Maintenance needs.
  • Personal budget.

The final restoration may use zirconia or another reinforced prosthetic material according to the confirmed plan. The exact material is identified in your quotation.

Your teeth are designed by considering your facial proportions, skin tone, lip movement, smile line and personal preferences. Because every face is different, the same tooth shape, shade and gum design will not suit every patient.

All-on-6 Implant Recovery and Aftercare

Swelling, tenderness, bruising and mild bleeding can occur during the first days after All-on-6 implant surgery. The extent of these effects depends on the number of extractions, implants and additional procedures performed.

Before leaving the clinic, you receive individual instructions covering medication, cleaning and diet.

During initial healing, you may be advised to:

  • Take prescribed medication exactly as directed.
  • Use cold compresses if recommended.
  • Eat soft foods and avoid placing excessive pressure on temporary teeth.
  • Avoid very hot, hard, crunchy or sticky foods.
  • Clean the surgical areas according to your dentist’s instructions.
  • Avoid smoking because it can interfere with healing.
  • Avoid alcohol during the period advised by your clinical team.
  • Contact the clinic if bleeding, swelling or pain becomes severe or persistent.

A full-arch bridge must be cleaned both around the implants and underneath the restoration. Your dentist will show you how to use appropriate brushes, interdental products or a water flosser after the surgical tissues are ready.

Long-term care includes daily cleaning, regular professional examinations and maintenance of the prosthetic screws, bridge and implant tissues.

Benefits of All-on-6 Dental Implants

For suitable patients, All-on-6 treatment can provide a stable alternative to removable full dentures.

Potential benefits include:

FIXED TEETH FOR DAILY USE

The full-arch bridge remains securely attached during eating, speaking and smiling. It does not need to be removed by the patient each day.

IMPROVED STABILITY

Implant support can reduce the movement and pressure points associated with loose removable dentures.

A COMPLETE ARCH SUPPORTED BY FEWER IMPLANTS

A complete arch can be supported without placing one implant for every missing tooth.

TEMPORARY TEETH DURING HEALING

Suitable patients may receive fixed temporary teeth on the day of surgery or shortly afterwards, avoiding an extended period without teeth.

PERSONALISED APPEARANCE

Tooth shape, shade, proportions and visible gum design can be planned around the patient’s face, smile and preferences.

COORDINATED TRAVEL SCHEDULE

Surgery and temporary teeth are completed during the first visit, while final teeth are fitted after healing during the second visit. Patients spend the healing period at home rather than remaining in Turkey.

POSSIBLE REDUCTION IN ADDITIONAL BONE PROCEDURES

Strategic implant positioning may reduce the need for extensive bone grafting in selected cases. This is not possible for every patient and must be confirmed with CBCT imaging.

Why Choose DIS Levent International for All-on-6 Implants in Istanbul?

All-on-6 treatment involves more than placing several implants. Surgery, implant position, temporary teeth, bite and the final restoration must be planned as one complete treatment.

At DIS Levent International, the surgical, restorative and international-patient stages are coordinated within the same clinic.

DENTIST-LED FULL-MOUTH IMPLANT CONSULTATION

Your available records are reviewed before you travel. The final treatment plan is confirmed after a complete clinical examination and three-dimensional imaging in Istanbul.

You receive clear information about the teeth that can be preserved, proposed extractions, implant number, temporary teeth, healing period and final restoration.

MULTIDISCIPLINARY TEAM IN ONE CLINIC

Full-mouth implant patients may require support from different dental disciplines. At DIS Levent International, professionals working across oral and maxillofacial surgery, implant dentistry, periodontology, restorative dentistry and endodontics can assess your treatment within the same clinic.

This reduces the need for external referrals and allows your oral health, implant surgery, bite and final teeth to be planned together.

ADVANCED DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY

Our full-arch workflow includes in-clinic CBCT imaging, SHINING 3D and iTero intraoral scanners and iCam4D photogrammetry for suitable cases.

CBCT imaging helps the surgeon assess bone and important anatomical structures. Digital scans and photogrammetry support communication between the surgeon, aesthetic dentist and dental laboratory when planning temporary and final teeth.

Digital technology cannot guarantee treatment success, but detailed diagnosis and coordinated planning can reduce avoidable uncertainty.

RECOGNISED AND TRACEABLE IMPLANT SYSTEMS

We use Neodent and MEDENTiKA, both part of the Straumann Group, as well as Bilimplant, a trustful Turkish implant system.

The implant system is selected with the patient according to clinical needs, personal preference, budget and long-term component availability. The chosen brand and model are documented, and an implant passport is provided after treatment.

TEMPORARY AND FINAL TEETH PLANNED TOGETHER

Implant positions are planned according to the restoration they will support. The temporary bridge, bite and final full-arch teeth are therefore considered as connected stages of one treatment rather than separate procedures.

TRANSPARENT TREATMENT PLAN

Before travelling, you receive an itemised plan showing the implants, temporary teeth, final restoration, included services and possible additional procedures.

If the clinical examination requires a change, the reason, options and cost are explained before treatment continues. Nothing is added without your approval.

INTERNATIONAL PATIENT SUPPORT

Throughout your treatment, a member of our international patient team who speaks your language is available to support you. Our English-speaking dentists communicate directly with patients, while professional interpreters assist those who prefer other languages.

This helps you explain your expectations, needs and concerns clearly to the dentist and the rest of the clinical team.

COORDINATED TRAVEL AND AFTERCARE

Our team assists with appointments, airport and clinic transfers, accommodation and practical information throughout both visits.

After you return home, your coordinator remains available and directs clinical questions to the relevant dentist when required.

All-on-4 and All-on-6 Dental Implants Before and After

Explore before-and-after cases from patients who received All-on-4, All-on-6 or other full-arch implant treatments at DIS Levent International.

Every patient begins with a different dental condition, bone structure, bite and treatment requirement. Photographs show individual results and cannot guarantee that another patient will achieve the same clinical or aesthetic outcome.

Where available, each case should identify:

  • The upper jaw, lower jaw or both jaws treated.
  • The number and brand of implants.
  • The temporary restoration.
  • The final bridge material.
  • The healing period.
  • Any additional surgical procedures.

Frequently Asked Questions About All-on-6 Implants in Turkey

What does All-on-X mean?+

All-on-X means that a complete arch of replacement teeth is supported by a planned number of dental implants. The “X” represents the number of implants used in each jaw, such as four implants in All-on-4 or six implants in All-on-6.

What is the difference between All-on-4 and All-on-6 implants?+

All-on-4 uses four implants per treated jaw, while All-on-6 uses six. The appropriate option depends on bone anatomy, implant distribution, bite forces and the planned restoration. All-on-6 is not automatically better for every patient.

Which is better: All-on-4 or All-on-6?+

Neither is universally better. Four well-positioned implants may be appropriate in one case, while another patient may benefit from six. The decision is made after a CBCT scan and combined surgical and restorative assessment.

How much do All-on-6 implants cost in Turkey?+

The cost depends on whether one or both jaws are treated, the number and brand of implants, extractions, bone procedures, temporary teeth and final bridge material. Patients should check whether an advertised price includes the complete treatment or only one stage.

Are Full-Mouth All-on-6 implants in Turkey safe?+

Treatment can be performed safely when suitable patients are treated by appropriately qualified clinicians using detailed diagnostics, traceable implant systems and established surgical protocols. Safety depends on the clinic, clinical team, patient’s health and aftercare-not simply the country.

Do all my remaining teeth need to be removed?+

Not automatically. Each remaining tooth should be assessed individually. Full-arch extraction is considered when the teeth cannot be predictably restored or maintained. Restorable natural teeth should not be removed simply to simplify treatment.

Can I have All-on-6 implants if I have bone loss?+

Possibly. Angled implants or a different implant distribution may make treatment possible for some patients with reduced bone. Other patients may require bone grafting, a sinus procedure or zygomatic implants. A CBCT scan is required before the appropriate plan can be confirmed.

Can I receive fixed teeth on the same day?+

Fixed temporary teeth may be attached on the day of surgery or shortly afterwards when the implants achieve sufficient initial stability. If immediate fixed teeth are not clinically safe, another temporary option will be provided.

Are same-day teeth the final teeth?+

No. Same-day teeth are temporary and are designed to protect the implants during healing. The final full-arch bridge is fitted after osseointegration and the required clinical checks have been completed.

Is All-on-6 implant surgery painful?+

The procedure is normally performed under local anaesthesia, so you should not feel surgical pain during treatment. Swelling, tenderness or discomfort can occur afterwards and varies according to the extent of surgery. Individual pain-management instructions are provided.

How many trips to Turkey are required?+

Most All-on-6 treatments require two visits. The first visit is for examination, implant surgery and temporary teeth. The second visit takes place after healing for the final full-arch restoration.

Do I need to stay in Turkey during the healing period?+

No. You return home after the first clinical checks and spend the three to six month healing period there. You come back to Istanbul when the implants are ready for the final restoration.

How long do I need to stay in Istanbul?+

The first and second visits are commonly planned for approximately five days each. Our package includes a total of 10 nights’ accommodation across the treatment visits. Your exact schedule is confirmed individually.

How long do All-on-6 implants last?+

There is no guaranteed lifespan. Dental implants can remain functional for many years, but the full-arch bridge and its components may require maintenance, repair or replacement earlier. Oral hygiene, smoking, bone health, bite forces and professional care all affect longevity.

Are All-on-6 teeth permanent?+

They are fixed rather than removable by the patient, but they should not be described as permanent or guaranteed for life. A dentist can remove the bridge for professional maintenance, repair or replacement when required.

Can I eat normally with All-on-6 teeth?+

Temporary teeth require a soft-food diet while the implants heal. After the final bridge has been fitted and the dentist confirms that healing is stable, patients can gradually return to a wider diet. Very hard objects should still be avoided.

How do I clean under an All-on-6 bridge?+

The areas around the implants and underneath the bridge require daily cleaning. Your dentist will demonstrate the appropriate use of a soft toothbrush, interdental products and a water flosser according to your stage of healing.

Which dental implant brands do you use?+

DIS Levent International uses Neodent and MEDENTiKA, both part of the Straumann Group, as well as Bilimplant. The system is selected according to clinical needs, patient preference, budget and component availability. An implant passport is provided after treatment.

What is included in the DIS Levent All-on-6 package in Turkey?+

The package includes a free remote consultation, clinical examination, diagnostic imaging, digital scans, implant placement, temporary teeth, final restorations, transfers, multilingual support and a total of 10 nights’ accommodation across both visits. Flights are not included.

What happens after I return home with All-on-6 implant?+

You receive individual dietary, cleaning and medication instructions. Your international patient coordinator remains available for follow-up communication and directs clinical questions to the relevant dentist. You should also continue regular examinations and professional implant maintenance with a local dentist.
